Low Voltage Start

SmartStarter will AUTOMATICALLY start your truck when its battery voltage drops below 12 volts. Your truck will automatically shut down once your desired runtime has been reached. AUTO START keeps your batteries charged and effectively eliminates the need for jump starts and service calls.

Low Temperature Start

SmartStarter will AUTOMATICALLY start your truck when its coolant temperature drops below your desired temperature. Your truck will automatically shut down once your desired runtime has been reached OR when its coolant temperature reaches 40C / 104F. AUTO START keeps your engine block warm and effectively eliminates cold weather starting issues.

Protect Your Truck With A Pre-trip Inspection

Unlike other remote starters SmartStarter always performs a pre-trip inspection before starting your truck. This includes checking the: Engine Oil Level, Coolant Level, Parking Brake Application, Transmission Gear Position, Battery Voltage and Hood Position.

SmartStarter will not start your truck if its Coolant Level is low, it's Parking Brake is released, it's Transmission is not in neutral, it's Battery Voltage is below 11.7 volts or it's Hood is open. SmartStarter will continuously monitor these parameters after starting your truck, and will shutdown your truck if they become unfavourable.

Engine Shutdown Protection Built In

SmartStarter continuously monitors your truck's engine to ensure it is within safe operating levels. SmartStarter will shutdown your truck and disable remote/auto starting if it's:

- COOLANT LEVEL becomes critically low

- ENGINE OIL PRESSURE becomes critically low

- ENGINE OVERHEATS

Once you have inspected your truck and resolved the issue, remote/auto starting can be enabled by resetting the in-cab SmartStarter switch.

SafeMode

SmartStarter has a built-in safe mode that disables remote/auto starting for the safety of technicians servicing your truck. Safe mode can be activated using the SmartStarter mobile app or by putting the in-cab SmartStarter switch into the OFF position.

Hood Switch

SmartStarter will not start your truck if its hood is open. If the hood is opened after your truck has been started, SmartStarter will automatically shutdown your truck.

Start-up Buzzer

For an additional layer of safety, SmartStarter will sound a warning buzzer prior to starting your truck.

Smart Alerts

SmartStarter will send real time alerts regarding the status of your truck directly to your smartphone. The SmartStarter app allows you to check your truck's battery voltage, engine status and runtime.
